Welcome to the AMS User Guide. This site contains information for users of AMS, as well as those developing forms and templates, and those who are integrating AMS with other systems within their enterprise.

Before you can install AMS on your phone or tablet you will need to ensure you have a compatible device and that you have a data plan that suits your usage level.

Once you are happy to continue, use the links below for instructions on how to install AMS on your particular device:

AMS has a wide range of features that can help provide additional security for your messages. These include SSL encryption for transport security and device locking for lost or stolen handsets.

If you are having issues with AMS on your device, you can reset AMS.

  4. Templates - Templates define the data to be collected from mobile users, what AMS does with that data, and how that data is presented to users within the system.
  5. Workflows - Workflows are used to dynamically control the fields on a form and to navigate a user between forms.
  6. Routes - Routes are used to convert messages to export formats and perform workflow actions on messages as they pass through AMS.
  7. Lists - Lists allow a set of shared data to be stored locally on the phone. The usual purpose for this is to create reference data from which a user can select (e.g. a list of stores or list of standard observations).
  8. Tags - Tags are used to create groups of templates, lists and mobile accounts, and to automate the assignment of templates and lists to accounts
