Keep Your Target Device In Mind

Mobile devices tend to display templates differently. If you know what device or devices you will be using for the template, try to select form items which display the best. For example, on a Sanyo mobile phone, a Choice Group of Popup style may not display properly, whereas a Choice Group of Exclusive style will - even though they both only allow a user to select one item at a time.

Keep Item Labels Short

The screen size and resolution of mobiles varies greatly. Smaller resolution screens tend to use larger fonts and cannot display much text. As a result, it is generally better to keep labels as short as possible (but still meaningful).

Screen Padding

On some devices, such as Windows Mobile devices running the IBM WEME J2ME runtime, you may find that items at the bottom of a Form Card with many elements can appear to "fall off the screen". To prevent this, adding a String Item to the bottom of the Card may help.
