Overview
Before a user can send or receive messages from their phone they will need a mobile account.
Creating A Mobile Account
To create a mobile account login and go to the "Mobile Account" section of the AMS web site. Click on the "Create New Mobile Account" button to get started.

The username and password for an account are used when authenticating the AMS mobile client on the phone. The user name needs to be unique and we recommend using the phone number. The device key is used internally to authenticate a particular phone after login. If a phone is lost or stolen the device can be revoked to prevent further access to AMS.

The Templates section allows you to assign templates to a mobile account.
Click the "Save" button to commit your changes.
Assigning Templates
Before a user can send or receive messages for a particular template it must first be assigned to their mobile account. If a template has a list card you must also assign the template for that card to the box as well. To add a template select it from the menu and click the "Add Template" button.

| Templates With List Cards Assigning a template that contains list cards will also cause all child templates to be added automatically. For a template to function properly a message box must be assigned required non root templates such as child templates of list cards. |
You can auto assign a Template to one or more mobile accounts by using Tags.
Assigning Lists
The process for assigning Lists to mobile accounts is very similar to assigning templates. There is no need to assign the template used to create the List as that will be done internally as a result of assigning the List.
Lists can also be auto assigned by using Tags.
Default Data
The "Default Data" section allows you to enter default values for form elements which are specific to a user. For example if your template contained a meta data employee code entry you could set that value automatically here so that it is automatically assigned to messages from this account. Learn more in the Template Data section of the wiki.
To add default data for a template select the template from the menu and click "Add Default Data". A new table will be added to the page where you can add entries for particular form elements. Clicking the red minus icon will delete the entries for that template, whereas click the trash icon will remove a particular default data entry for that template.
